Forgot to mention this on here but my family got me tickets for my birthday to see the Fulham/Chelsea game at FedEx Field a few weeks back.  Went with my soccer nut son.  Got to admit I felt a bit like a little kid again seeing in person all the guys I'd been rooting for from a distance over the past years.

 

Of course Fulham totally sucked and lost 2-0 with very few opportunities to score.  I just wanted 1 goal to celebrate in person considering I might never see them again, was that too much to ask?  Haha.  

 

But all in all it was just awesome.  Pretty much the entire 1st team was there.  Saw Mitrovic but he was still in the standoff with the club over the Saudi league and didn't play so that was a bummer.

 

Great little thing the PL does.

I wonder if Europeans feel the same about the NFL tours? Plus they are regular season games, not exhibitions.

Looks like Matt Turner is set to move to Nottingham Forest.  I am okay with this as it means he will most likely be the starter there and will see more PT.

Here's my EPL season preview. If there's one sentence you pay attention to in the whole thing its the caveat about the transfer window still being open. Shoot I about had it done when the Turner transfer to Forest was completed. Still a couple of weeks to go too. And interstingly enough now on Saturday Forest plays Arsenal!

Yeah, I mean there's something to be said for staying with your original team, but I would like to see him on a more successful club.

Chelsea pulled the plug since Moises Calicedo says he won't go anywhere but Chelsea after it looked like he was headed to Liverpool

I signed up for what I think was a 12 month promotion at $2.99/month yesterday to watch the Liverpool game.  Peacock used to be free but I can sacrifice $36 for the season since most games aren't on cable.

Caicedo to Chelsea all but a done deal. Terms agreed to by all parties and now just waiting on physical. No more word on other potential moves for Adams.

 

Hate to see Adams stay in the Championship but not heart broke he's not headed to Stamford Bridge.
