Arsenal 4-0!

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

Arsenal deserved the W. Fulham played them tough but Arsenal just kept getting corners and you knew that sooner or later they'd find a way to score on one.

Unfortunately Ox and Thiago are injured more often than not. Was Keita injured too?

He was available that game

Sir I believe it’s called a “match”

lol

Yeah and its also called a "pitch"  , the uniforms are called "kit", and their shoes or cleats are called "boots" but I don't use those terms for fear too many will either laugh at me or not know what the hell I am talking about

Oh and its called tootball......

Sometimes I’ll check the live scoring on an EPL match and laugh at the language they use when describing the play.

Next time Stoner temp bans someone he should say he was “sent off”

How was that not a red against Nottingham Forest on the deliberate handball in the box to prevent Cane the scoring opportunity?

Because its not an obvious goal scoring opportunity IMO. Header in contested traffic is just not gonna get a red there short of the guy intentionally swatting the ball with his arm. I think a yellow was correct there.

I’m sorry Steven but Kane in the box is always an obvious scoring chance. But I did think yellow was correct.

And Bop, try out ‘fixture’ instead of match. Proper innit

I'm all for a foul, yellow card, red card message board penalty system

Since we're using proper English terms here, Scott Parker is the first manager to be sacked this season.  Seems a bit reactionary to me but I guess losing 9-0 has its consequences.

Wow, Tuchel is gone.  Hopefully whoever they bring in will give Pulisic a fair chance to earn some more PT.

What a great way to wake up. Work out then get online and read all the latest soccer news to see this.

Tuchel is a very good tactical coach. But he is arrogant and insists on playing his way regardless of how well his actual players function in that system. And of course the axion he's earned isn't far off. "Tuchel coached teams are where strikers go to die."

Looks like all EFL games cancelled this weekend due to the death of the queen.

Lots of rumbling from the EPL (players, management, fans) that cancelling the games may not have been a good way to show respect. Most were hoping for black arm bands, moment of silence/tribute, and playing the National Anthem.

League probably in a now win position. Cancel the matches and they get rumblings from the soccer world. Play the matches and they would get the same rumbling (or maybe even worse) from the non soccer world.

Just watch Bundesliga this morning. Plenty of US players on display. Watching RBL and Dortmund right now.
