On First Take last week, Skip Bayless said he doesn't think Chris Paul is worth a max contract.
Personally, I nearly fell off my couch, as I consider Paul in the top 2 with Derrick Rose on the list of best PG's in basketball.
Was this typical Skip talk, or does he have a point?

He's basically regarded as the best PG in the game, Top 10 player by everyone, and a Top 5 player by most.
Pretty crazy, even for Skip.

Not overrated as a player, that's for sure..
However, I'm not sure he's the best teammate out there. Simmons talks about how he and Griffin really don't get along very well, and CP is constantly berating his teammates...That might wear on guys after a while, who knows.

I think it's possible to argue he's not the best point guard (Jalen Rose thinks it's Tony Parker. He might be right), but not worth a max contract is insane. He's got the wrong overrated Clipper (looking at you Blake Griffin).

Elaborate please. Also why are you watching that over playoff baseball and MNF?
Looks like he dropped weight and added muscle. After yesterday's marathon, I'm football'd out, so checking out the Blazers for the first time.
