Also at the scrimmage, two students won a scholarship drawing in which coach John Calipari will cover their spring semester tuition, the Lexington Herald Leader reported. Calipari told the newspaper the odds of winning were 250-to-1. Each scholarship is worth about $5,000.

Look forward to the CU game (It's on MASN 2 according to my TV guide). We have a bit of a post-Big 12 rivalry going with them. Brady Heslip crushed all those 3's against us in the Tourney in 2012. We got revenge last year. So third time in three years.
When I was there, we made the NIT once and that was considered a success. I'd say this is the first year where we actually expect to make the Tourney in 2013. It will be interesting to see how the program performs given the expectations.

I think part of that in recent years has been that they have not been overly athletic. That won't be an issue this year. One issue they do have though is Jefferson as the C... MD was hard after him as an athletic 4... but I remember many people saying at the time he was going to have trouble at the 4, because he was more of tweener. So, hard for me to imagine him at the 5.
That said, they had 4 players with 20+ points tonight. Scoring won't be an issue. With their guards/wings, figure to be a tough out.
