And to be clear about Carolina, I dont necessarily think they are or can be a great team. A lot of what I said about them was the circumstances of playing Iowa St down a starter and a 7th seeded UConn team.
I think they can be good. Kentucky can be great. Kentucky could legitimately go through Wich St, Louisville, Mich and Zona to get to the Finals. Carolina couldn't go through that many top quality teams in a row
Yea I agree.
So often in this tourney, outcomes that are out of your control dictate how far you go.
When Duke won the title in 2010, thy were clearly not as good as Kansas or Kentucky that year..but those 2 teams got knocked out...Duke didn't play them and they won.
UNC avoiding a healthy ISU team and getting a weaker 2 seed helps them...no doubt.

This game is in San Antonio and the ratio of UNC to ISU fans use probably 3:1. You're going to get what you deserve "Cyclone Nation".

ISU just has no depth. They don't lose this game if they are healthy but that's how things go.

My brackets are taking a huge hit. I haven't won a game on them in forever it seems. Went from 95th percentile yesterday to upper 60s in the matter of like 5 games or so.

A foul there isn't terrible for ISU..but they need to get a rebound off a miss, if he misses.
