There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

Besides, it's one thing to have an ego and then admit you're wrong. You never ever back down even when you're wrong.
I've literally never seen you write those words.

How am I wrong here? Because YoU think so?You just cannot call anybody out for having an ego.

Can you back up your point anymore than, they beat Wichita St and lost to Florida by 1? What else do you got because that's pretty weak.
And Brandon, I can call you out if I want...truth is what it is.

Wich St is a good team. They didn't play a bad game. Kentucky just beat them.
And that means Kentucky is better than at least 2 of Mich St, Louisville and Zona?

They looked like shit against KSU and just best a very good team from a mid major conference.
I'm not surprised they advanced and, as we talked about last week, with their talent, they could go on a run.
But I don't see an argument that they are better than Louisville, Florida, Zona and MSU.
True... I'm wrong then. Didn't see them beating Wichita State.

The same LVille team that could have lost yesterday?
Are we also talking about the same Kentucky team that shot 38% against k st...including 26% from 3 and 66% from the FT line?
Good teams have bad days....using that as any kind of barometer is poor.

How can someone admit they are one of the most. talented teams and then not comprehend that when you harness that talent you see results.
It's A to B. It's simple logic.

Well, and let's be honest... I'm not a Calipari fan by any stretch of the imagination, but he's a hell of a coach.

Agreed, he gets players to buy into his system. Sure it's easier when you have the talent, but you still have to win the games. He was also winning before he was at UK as well without as much of a foundation in place.

All I have to go on at this point is they took the 1 and 2 ranked teams heading into the tournament down to the wire winning one of them.
And now people are going to downplay Wich St being legit. They are legit. They played well today.
Kentucky probably beats everybody in the country today.
I fully expect Kentucky to be right there with Louisville. If Louisville controls the game and wins by 7+ points I'll be surprised.

They finished this game strong. Hit the FTs hit the big shots.

If Louisville plays like they have the 1st 2 rounds, Kentucky will win. Easily.

I want to hear Rob next weekend if Kentucky beats Louisville and likely Mich.
He'll twist shit somehow.
I mean we've already moved past "dook is a top 10 team in the country and if you think otherwise you are poor"
Sports keep happening so its easy to make definitive statements and move on from them even if your comments are poor.

So again...you think what they did in 2 games justifies making them better than 2 of Zona, MSU and Louisville? They finished this game strong. Hit the FTs hit the big shots.

I fully expect Kentucky to be right there with Louisville. If Louisville controls the game and wins by 7+ points I'll be surprised.
I mean, Mich St got healthy and has been very good and basically everyone out there who covers CBB on a national level say MSU is the best team when healthy.
You already said Florida.
So, that tells me you think Kent is better than Zona and Louisville..at least.
Kentucky lost 4 of their last 7 heading into the tourney.
They are 14th in Kenpom and, after today, probably will be in top 10.
They have had inconsistent play all year, especially from their guards.
The Florida game you are referencing saw them losing by 11 with 9 minutes left...Florida controlled that game.
Now, credit to Kentucky for making it a game and almost winning but playing a good game for 9 minutes and beating a very good mid major team doesn't make you one of the top 3 teams in the country.
Now, if you want to say that they are playing well, have a lot of talent and can make a run...that's fine. Totally agree and said as much. But we just saw them, 2 days ago, shoot 38% for the game. We saw them lose 4 out of 7 to end the year.
I don't see how a good 9 min stretch and beating a mid major by 2 automatically makes them better than Louisville and Arizona.

See Brandon, what you don't seem to get is that in a one and done scenario, just because you win, doesn't mean you are the better team.
Anyone can lose on a given day.
And btw, what will your spin be if/when they lose? Will they still be a top 3 team if they lose?
