I know you were, but I thought you started supporting him by the end of last year. My bad if I'm wrong.

You're wrong.

I have a buddy who works for them, as I've mentioned, and he told me so many times how that thing was bound to blow up for a few years with Jackson in charge. All good.

Golden State is unbelievable.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

Get rid of Mark Jackson and put Harrison Barnes in the starting lineup and good things happen!!!

20-2!!

So is it mostly addition-by-subtraction with Jackson, or is Steve Kerr the missing piece this team needed? Or some of both?

Some of both..I've heard it's the whole environment around the team. Jackson literally didn't get along with anyone outside of the players.. Apparently though, he did have a good relationship with most of them, which I guess is ultimately the most important thing, though it didn't save his job.

There was some internal disagreement on the Barnes/Iggy stuff as well pretty much within the first 6 weeks of the season, which i brought up on the board, but everyone blew me off and thought I was making it up or something, so I dropped it. Apparently some of the brass realized they erred in bringing in Iggy, and wanted HB to play more, but Jackson wouldn't start Barnes. Not to say that played into Jackson's firing at all, but since HB was a Tar Heel, Noah (friend ) kept me in the loop about that situation moreso than other details.

GS is absolutely for real.

But again, how deep in the playoffs they go will be determined by the health of Bogut. They need his defense, size and rebounding for the playoffs.

Man, I have fully bought into Golden State. Draymond Green is ridiculously underrated, almost went for another triple double tonight. Best backcourt in the league, Speights is in the top 5 in scoring per 36 and their bench is really solid. To have Bogut, Lee, and Iggy coming off the bench, 3 guys that were starting last season and have been starters their whole career, that's impressive.

They have all the tools to win it all. I thought they made a good point tonight, though, you can have a GREAT season, and get bounced in the first round very easily in the West.
