Curry claims he made 77 straight 3s in practice today. Believe him?
Even for him...no.

I believe it, even before seeing the video.

Some of both..I've heard it's the whole environment around the team. Jackson literally didn't get along with anyone outside of the players.. Apparently though, he did have a good relationship with most of them, which I guess is ultimately the most important thing, though it didn't save his job.
There was some internal disagreement on the Barnes/Iggy stuff as well pretty much within the first 6 weeks of the season, which i brought up on the board, but everyone blew me off and thought I was making it up or something, so I dropped it. Apparently some of the brass realized they erred in bringing in Iggy, and wanted HB to play more, but Jackson wouldn't start Barnes. Not to say that played into Jackson's firing at all, but since HB was a Tar Heel, Noah (friend ) kept me in the loop about that situation moreso than other details.
So just to revisit this for a second...Kerr comes in, Barnes becomes a starter, develops a bit, with the help of a now accepting bench player in Iggy, who by all accounts handled himself beautifully all year, completely buying in to Kerr's plan.
Then the Finals come, and Iggy wins the MVP. They were the epitome of "team" this year, and I think that started with Kerr.

And they didn't screw up in bringing in Iggy.
The brass felt that they did originally, but clearly he bought in to being a bench player, and the results speak for themselves.

Sounds like Lee will be on another team next year.
Going to be interesting to see what other moves this team makes.

I don't think him starting vs being on the bench was tremendously important, but yeah, once they made the decision it was key for him to buy into that role.

Agreed, and kudos to him for being so agreeable to it. It paid off!

He shouldn't have been the MVP of the series but he was huge for them. He was their second best player throughout the series.

LeBron should have been the MVP, but I get why he didn't get it.
I would have voted for Iggy.

He has a solid case for their MVP. His D was invaluable as he was their only decent defender on LeBron, and he's one of the best defenders in the league on him. He also was quite good on offense.

Sure, the case is definitely there.
But his offense was good because they would leave him to double Curry. Curry went for like 26/6/5 or something like that. Not to mention all the attention he draws and how teams defend them when he is on the court.
Iggy did a great job vs LBJ but LeBron was going to miss a shit ton of shots no matter who was on him IMO.
Iggy would have finished second in the voting for me but I think the race for second, between Green and Iggy, was closer than the race for first.

You guys are totally forgetting James McAdoo...
His constant clapping on the bench should not be overlooked!!!

It was all about would have gone to Duke Livingston!
BTW, he was a great pick up for them in the offseason and what a tremendous story he is. You can see what kind of talent that kid was and no wonder people were drooling over him.
Despite all those injuries, he still is an excellent NBA role player.
