Kanter can become a free agent after this season, though I suppose it would make more financial sense for him to play out the $18.6 million option for 2018-19.

I know it's a small-ball league now, but their big rotation looks precariously thin. Do they really think they are going to get significant minutes from Nick Collison?

The Thunder are really interesting now. You guys may recall that I'm not a big Melo fan, but if he's willing to accept being the third guy on a team, we might get more of the Olympic Melo compared to what we've typically seen from him, and that Melo is really good. How willing he is to take a step back on offense and how willing he is to commit more to the defensive end are huge questions of course, but the Thunder now have a very high upside IMO. Russ dialing things back on offense is also key here.
Great move for them considering they didn't really give up anything that matters.

The Thunder have added PG13 and Melo for very little. They are the second best team in the NBA right now IMO.
Also not a huge Melo fan but he's the second best "third wheel" in the league IMO.

Westbrook has lived up to his word.
Now, can he convince George to stay?

Apparently Westbrook intentionally waited until Durant's birthday to sign the deal.

They were having fun last night. Moving the ball, pushing the pace. If they regularly share the rock, and move things around... they'll be fun to watch.
