BTW....just to let it be known. the whole Decision thing didnt even bother me that much. I mean it was clearly handled poorly and all but LeBron's heart was in the right place. I think it was anyway.

I just dont get it Ricker. he was there for a year. He had his ups and downs with everyone in the organization. Why are you flying in to tell them you are leaving. Obviously, he isnt going to get on twitter and telling everyone. Dont be sensational.

I mean its one thing to walk across the street or drive down the road to tell someone in person. its another thing to fly in to do it. Whats wrong with doing it on the phone if he wanted to tell the Lakers first. Why fly in??? Again, maybe Mitchy and Dwight had some tight bond and he needed to look him in the face but I'm suspicious.

Calm your old ass down.

And despite what you think, I dont hate you. In fact, the opposite. I just like busting your balls. Same with Weber. It doesnt help you guys knowing I can get under your skin

Kobe Bryant just moved up on my list...he unfollowed Dwight on Twitter, and put up a pic of him and Pau on instagram...

I'M IN!!! #CLIPPERNATION

Yep, all because of the eeeeeeevil Twitter, it is completely impossible to make a simple and clear announcement of any sort these days.

Good thing Dwight didnt try to meet Kobe in person to tell him too.

Can you imagine. I can see Kobe rolling his eyes, and just saying WTF, get out of my house.

I mean seriously, if the girl in school is deciding who's request to accept to the prom. Do you really want her walking up to you in front of everybody first and telling you no before she accepts from the other guy. No, screw all that drama. Just let me find out through the grapevine and go ask my backup plan.

Ha. good call.

One more thing, Dwight did announce the other day that he was going to decide by Friday, correct? That's a smaller scale version of what LeBron did, no?

i'm not saying Dwight did anything wrong per se, but I don't know that he's handled this well to be honest.

Good lord, i just agreed with Branden.

I need a nap.

That is classic. Kobe better hope he didn't just give Pau the kiss of death that gets him traded though.

He should have done a TV show, followed by a dance party.

That's what the cool kids do.

Let's invoke Occam's Razor here. What's the simplest explanation?

- Dwight Howard is an indecisive twit.

- Chris Broussard received poor, or assumed from weak, information.

Obviously Brussard could get that info from both sides. Not saying he did but it should be something he should be able and willing to confirm.

So yeah, Howard is likely an indecisive headcase.

All of the above.

EDIT: And just for the record, it was Sam Amick of USA Today that first reported he was headed to Houston.

The source(s) of the information don't matter. The quality of the information does. And this time of year, especially when potential sources know that anything they can slip out will get eaten up, that information overall tends not to be right. Even with the best journalists looking.

Of course that was done after it was announced. Dwight also tweeted.

Are people really upset that a guy may have waffled some on one of the most important decisions of his life? Over the course of one day? Where he said nothing publicly?
