The Thorne love by O's fans baffle me. His play by play is atrocious. I know some people like the personality he brings otherwise but he's not for me.

Seems like a nice enough guy, but I agree with you.
I'd rather just have 2 analysts like Palmer and Bordick without the pbp.

I think it's due to the other PBP guys around the league. Many, including national guys, are atrocious. Agree with Stoner that I don't find the role totally necessary.
