Did you officially question his ability when he kept bringing out Kevin Gregg?

No.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

No.

I thought that was more questionable.

Gregg was about as bad as JJ this year. Difference is Gregg pitched on a last place team. JJ pitches on a team where every win matters.

Gregg didn't have the year Jim Johnson did before. It makes it harder to remove him. Every win matters for every contending team. No team can afford to take games off this year in baseball. Sure the games are bigger this year for the O's than two years ago, I still would take Jim Johnson this year over Kevin Gregg two years ago. I had a lot less confident in Gregg than I do Jim Johnson now, I suppose that's a personal preference though/

This misses the point. I, too, would take JJ over Gregg but JJ gets a much shorter leash, one that should have already extinguished. If Gregg sucked it didn't really matter; the whole team sucked.

So it didn't matter, that we were losing games because he was blowing leads because we were a bad team?... I'd disagree with that.

If he was going to keep Kevin Gregg as long as he did, you probably should've "officially questioned" his managing before all of this. Just because you are losing team, doesn't mean continued losing is acceptable. Maybe for the bandwagon fans, but not the fans who actually care about the team. Managers tend to stick with their closers a lot longer than "fans" would.

Ugh this debate is pointless.

I'm guessing you questioned his managing ability today after the Jones homer too.

Do you always need to get the last word in? If you don't want to answer the question then don't respond.

Well that answers my question re: cluelessness. I've made my stance perfectly clear and one thing I won't do is reopen this with you every time JJ successfully converts a save, "so, what do you think NOW?" -- that's the lowest form of debate.

As for "the last word" take a look in the mirror.
