It's like he waited just long enough to make sure his stock was as low as it could get...

Yea, he would've been a top 10 pick if he'd have come out with Barnes/Marshall/Henson/Zeller...Which would have been a terrible mistake for whatever team picked him, but still better for JMM.

Heels are #1 if he stayed, top 10 without him.

ESPNAaron Gordon declares for draft

Arizona will lose Aaron Gordon to the NBA draft, and the Wildcats are also likely to watch junior guard Nick Johnson leave school early, sources told ESPN.com.

In addition, freshman Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and sophomore 7-footer Kaleb Tarczewski have been contemplating whether to return to school. However, sources close to the situation told ESPN.com that both players are leaning toward returning to Tucson.

It's decision day for Jabari.

i think he'll be a STAR in the NBA right away...He's gotta go pro, absolutely NO reason for him to stay in school..

Hopefully this works. :)

Re: Parker...

I think he'd like to stay...  ESPN's Ryan Rusillo said yesterday that 4 Executives he has talked to have said he would be their choice for the #1 pick.

Less upside vs. Wiggins, and Embiid; but more of a sure thing.  Rusillo did say that if Embiid can prove his health prior to the draft, that he could easily go 1 though.

Believe Steve Kerr was quoted as saying Parker is a 20ppg game scorer in the NBA next year.

@Espngreeny The way system is set up, there is no reason for Jabari Parker to stay in school. It's a shame, but it's the right decision. #Duke

Weird not having the Wizards in the Lottery. And of all drafts not to have a top pick...

If they get bounced in the 1st round... which would you rather have? A top 5 pick, or an early playoff exit?

That's really tough. Even though basketball is the easiest sport to make the playoffs, I still think there's something significant about getting back after 6 years. It just sort of validates what they're building a bit, which unfortunately is mainly just Wall and Beal with no other real long term pieces. I think I take the playoffs, if not partially because my confidence in EG in any draft is minimal, even one loaded with talent. And dammit if I'm not slowly getting incredibly excited for the playoff game on Sunday!

I'm excited too... but one more legit piece gets us really close to legitimate contention. I'm torn on this one.

A top 5 pick wasn't that realistic, though, even without the Gortat trade.

Probably a top 5 pick but as we've seen before that's no sure thing. I'm happy they're in the playoffs.

Statistically it's a tie with hockey, I think it's easier for the weaker team to advance in hockey however. Basketball seems to be the most predictable of the major sports. Agree with you just getting back to playoffs after 6 years is a big deal. At some point the Wizards have to go for it, I think it's good they're in that position.

CBS SportsBaylor's Isaiah Austin declares for NBA draft

Isaiah Austin entered college as one of the elite players in the class of 2012, and many thought he would be a one-and-done prospect. However, after a shoulder injury prevented him from working out for NBA teams last year, Austin returned to Waco.

Now, the Baylor sophomore is ready to move ahead with his plans.

Austin declared for the NBA draft on Tuesday.
