Good heart, McLouth. Unlike Jeters silly play, it was necessary to go into the crowd.

Strop will pitch the 9th. Buck said he wanted to get him work tonight and perfect situation up 9.

I know it probably isn't but it feels like we put a dagger in the Yankees tonight.

Well, stick a fork in him, Pedro's completely done. No hope left whatsoever at this point.

What's the opposite of a silver lining? Whatever that term is that I'm not coming up with right now is what Pedro Strop was tonight.

LOL. Of course, after I typed that, he settled down and got the side, but man, there wasn't a better set of circumstances to come in, relaxed and breeze through a frame than tonight.

We're all reactionary, but I don' think you were off on Pedro at all. The fact, you can't trust the guy with that kind of lead is bad. I really hate wishing bad for players, but if you can't use players in mop-up, there's really no place for them.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty
