Flaherty with another hit, he's really raking it right now.
What a fun game.
Weird for Jones to ask Rosenthal what the record is for most AB's w/o a walk during the game, and then for Ken to ask him if Puig should be an All-Star for an unplanned interview. I guess it's kind of cool, but if it weren't 9-0, would we want Jonesy being distracted like that?

Damn, Britton is pretty good tonight...now, he's gotta get out of this sitiation!

Britton just always seems to be susceptible to losing it at any time, while on cruise control a lot of the time.

Looks like Britton's hit a wall this inning...let him pitch through the 6th if he only gives up a few, then go get him the win...He's pitched about as well as I'd expect honestly.

Bad error by Davis, but Britton sort of deserves this fate. He's had an inexcusable inning to this point.

SO very frustrating. Britton has the stuff to be a very good ML starter. He just can completely lose control. Still deserved to get through 6 and probably would have come out to start the 7th. Maybe not, but I think Buck would have let him start with 83 pitches.

Freaking Jones. He has no idea how to approach an AB. Just go up and hack.

Meanwhile Chris Davis is strong. Did you see Buck trying to hold back his excitement?

The only good thing is Jurjjens isnt long for the club so using him really doesnt effect anything assuming he can finish this game off. Or at least pitch the next two innings.

That and we are up 11-2.

Barring a total collapse, we shouldn't see another pitcher tonight. Jair needs to finish this game.
Ok...I guess if you want Strop to pitch the ninth, that's ok.
