Sorry, I didn't notice that.
You don't think the Clippers can come out of the West? I can understand maybe not being THE favorite, but for much of the season they had close to the best record in the West. They probably wouldn't have been my first pick, but I think half way through last season, a lot of people would have said they were more (or just as) likely than the Spurs to be in the Finals.
They were the 4th best team in the West last year. They added Reddick and Dudley (after my post). Maybe that moves them up to 3rd but that's it. I don't think they could beat Memphis, OKC, or SA in a 7 game series. GSW I believe would give them a run for their money. If Houston gets Dwight they are clearly better than them as well. I made a lot of money last year betting on the Grizzlies against them last playoffs. The Clippers are as overrated as the Knicks IMO.

Dwight going back to LA?
LeBron has already promised him he is coming there in '15. LeBron has to leave the old, no good players in Miami high and dry and run to LA. Typical, he thinks all this teaming up is going to help his legacy. it's going to hurt him.

Yea, with how things have turned out, that trade looks pretty awful right now.Speaking of the Clips, they got solid role players in Reddick and Dudley for Bledsoe.
Kevin Martin went to the wolves for 28M over 4 years. No surprise of what I'm about to say: what a horrific trade that was for the Thunder. Presti should be embarrassed.

Do they have another first rounder from this deal?
I think they have a Mavericks 1st round pick that is top 20 protected and a 2nd rounder next year still coming to them.

Greivis on the move?

Horrible for Vasquez. Understand NO wanting better athleticism, and why they would want Evans.... but Vasquez had a quality year, and is going to be banished to NBA Siberia (good home crowd, but no coverage and a weak roster).

He should be able to flourish. Not like NO is some great bball market.
But their roster was coming, and much more ready to jump up vs. Sacramento.

Setting the poor trade aside, I think Martin could do well in Minn. We know he likes playing in Adelman's offense, and he'll fit with Rubio much better than Westbrook, IMO.

Bobcats sign Jefferson for 40.5M over 3 years.
Horrible.
You knew somebody was going to open the vault and overpay him. Never thought it would be Rich Cho....always believed he was smarter than that.

Looks like a done deal, with Robin Lopez also going to Portland for cash and future considerations (translation: 2nd Round picks) as part of the deal. Not sure what the Blazers were thinking there, as they just blew most of their cap room.

Portland will send Jeff Withey to Pelicans as part of 3-team deal, league source tells Y!
