At a concert..how has Britton looked so far? Locating pitches?

 

Working fast, throwing strikes, pitching to contact... a little high in the zone so far early. Looks confident.

If I were Verlander, I wold rather face Jones here anyway...especially since Jones is like 2-25 all time vs Verlander.

Dammit Jones. Let Verlander off the hook there. The silver lining is he's up to 60 pitches already.

 

I still can't believe Verlander has logged close to 1,600 innings before turning 30 years old. Unless his arm truly is a freak of nature type thing, he's going to pay the price for that sooner than later, which is kind of sad.

Only problem is that Verlander seems to get stronger the more pitches he throws in a game and more innings he goes...We hav eto get to him NOW!
