God I hope not.

Don't the Rays have something in the seats behind home plate? The Nats had a "home plate suite" at RFK.

That facade of ads out there covering up the LF wall above the Crawford Boxes is just horrendous. So tasteless and greedy it's insane.

If luxury box sales pick up, which they say will by the ASB this year if the O's are still in it, then more companies will request seats behind the plate for other guests that prefer it. I guarantee that if the corporations are lined up for O's season plans, they'll put in those luxury seats at some point.

My guess is they might try to sell the CF deck area to groups or a portion of it possibly. Another idea is if regular ticket sales pick-up, selling those seats.

I find the Chick-Fil-A "Fowl" Pole to be tacky as well.

A bit unrelated, I remember someone who was sitting near me at a game maybe 6-7 years ago was saying you can tell how a team is doing by the wall advertising. The implication is they can have less cluster with better ticket sales (better team).

Great minds think alike.

Has anyone in this thread been there before? If so what were your impressions?

If the Yankees somehow get out of ARod's contract, I'm going to be pissed.

I don't think it's getting publicity yet, but they are selling the seats up there (the numbered ones facing the field, not the whole bar area).

Agreed... and it'll be a 100 game ban, I think... all the more reason for them to leave no stone un turned to try. This is going to be interesting to follow.

At this point, I'll believe the 100 game suspensions when I see them. Even if there is enough evidence to suspend players I can't see the MLBPA letting that precedent through without a Curt Flood-like legal battle.

Agreed. Sounds like posturing.
