Well, I should have excluded politicians... that's my bad. And yes, it seems like Harrisburg is in a whole different world right now with what's going on there. Crazy.

They need to bring back umpire balloons, and mandate the umps stay directly behind the center of the plate.

 

Several pitches during that ab, he was on the other side of Wieters, off the plate. They are being taught to do that, to avoid taking as many fouls.... but how can you possible see the other side of the plate?

 

They already don't call the strike zone as designated by the rules. So frustrating. Give me robot umps.

Our Ravens Rap podcast uses Blog Talk Radio. For whatever reason, I can not get the site to load. I've cleared my cache, checked the security... tried on FireFox, Chrome, IE... nothing works (does work on my phone).

On Chrome have you tried it on an incognito window? That surprisingly fixed something like this for me once...

Know Wieters is never going to be a track star, but I'd love to hear about him spending a winter working with Brady... doing everything he can to maximize his athleticism now (Tucker's piece on catching did have good comments from that scout, about how Wieters does have good athleticism - as shown by his quick movements behind the plate.)
