LOL... Hardy on, Pearce and Flaherty getting it done.
It's what happened last year when guys got hurt. Role players just stepped up.
Very Yankee like.

Amazing that it wasn't long ago that Hanson was a great prospect and looked to be one of the next best young pitchers.
A few injured years later, Atlanta trades him for a reliever and his stuff looks poor.
When Atlanta pulls the plug, you pretty much know what that means. Such a good organization.

Is he eligible for ROY this season? If he is, he's a shoe-in.
I don't think he is. I cant remember the exact number, but if he had six or so less at bats in 2012 he would have been eligible for ROY this year.
It's looking like some of the guys are realizing it's time to step up with Davis out. Pearce and Flaherty with hits. Hardy with a bomb.

Yep and it's probably worth a reliever to find out...just amazing how he looks now compared to not that many years ago.

Doesn't sound like Davis is hurt that bad if he was trying to play today.
Davis told Britt no structural damage. No official word yet though.

Ok, it wasn't as small as six at bats. 130 at-bats in the previous year is the ROY threshold. He had 191.

Probably tweaked it when he slammed it down on the bag. Just an aggravation.

I strained my neck this morning and at the age of 36, I pushed through my workout...yeah, it hurts, but I know in a few days I'll be fine....I'm sure Davis is in the same boat minus about 8 years. I didn't think it looked THAT TERRIBLE of a twist, so it's probably just one of those little strains that you rest and ice for a few days, and then get back on it, and then it feels better about 6 months later finally.

Joe Buck is still very good at this... It's just a shame he doesn't like baseball anymore.
I personally think Joe Buck is terrible...I'd rather listen to thorne & palmer.
