I'll always have a soft spot for you, Bob Dino
No doubt. Love that guy.

Per Britt:
I'm overcaffeinated in the Seattle press box w/ @danconnollysun. We figured out that the Os bullpen has thrown 38 1/3 IP in last 11 days.
That's a ridiculous stat.

I'm too drunk to process that last play you're referencing, but I just thought it landed in no man's land... you're convinced it was an effort thing, eh?
Without a doubt. He pulled up way early and the ball dropped 3 feet in front of him. Thats his ball.

Old Hoss Radbourn:
It is nice that the Cubs are going to give their temple to the God of Baseball Losses the overhaul it so richly deserves.

Ugh, he needs to wake up. Have no idea what his deal is right now.

I think ODay and BMat are available tomorrow but again a lot of pitches.
THE BP is throwing way, way too many innings right now. IN particular, BMat, O'Day, JJ, and Patton. Those guys will be gassed come July at this point.

Lineup turns over with L, L, S batting next inning. Let Matusz close it out.
And how!

Dickerson is a very likable person it seems.

We were saying similar stuff last year. Just pointing this out, JJ hasn't pitched since Sunday now, so he'll be well rested for tomorrow if necessary. I'm a bit concerned about the other cases. Buck/DD did a great job last year of managing the 'pen, hopefully same thing again.

Except for a little blip in this game in the middle of it, it felt like the reverse of yesterdays. One of those games, we just had no problem winning and deserved too. Not much else to say. Hopefully, we get the series tomorrow and split in Anaheim. 7-5 would be great.
