To Britton's credit, you knwo it's his first start and you KNOW he's gonna throw a fastball down the middle...not real hard to predict...I think whoever the hell that was who hit the HR was swinging on the 1st pitch regardless if it was close.

No. Nobody ever tries to throw a fastball down the middle. Not on the first pitch. Not on 3-0. Not when a pitcher is bunting.
Never try to throw a ball directly down the middle. That's just bad pitching.
