That's the thing about knuckler's... they usually need their own catcher. Varitek couldn't catch Wakefield, IIRC.

Do you remember the year where the O's had 5 SS's during the season, with each one seemingly worse than the last?

Luis Hernandez and Brandon Fahey were part of that motley crew.
