up 0-2 on Hernandez and Walks him. If he doesn't pick it up, it will be a long day for the bullpen. They have to at least give their offense a chance.

It still infuriates me that we didn't add any pitchers in the offseason. There isn't a single guy in the rotation who was a better than 50/50 shot at being effective and healthy this season.
Get it together, Jason!

The 30th pitch of the inning is fouled back... still 3-2.

I am almost willing to see what Bundy can offer as a starter right now. The rotation has been poor to say it lightly. Barely giving the offense a chance to win games.

I had the pre-game ceremonies in Fenway up on the other screen - I didn't realize it was already up to 30. Yikes.

Gets the k. Going to need a quick couple of innings when he gets back.
O's coming up down 3.

Well, he hasn't started throwing yet from his injury. We'll see how it goes for him once he starts pitching in games in a few weeks, or whenever that is. I do think he'll be up sooner than others. I also think Gausman has a shot t to be here soon'ish too. (If Bundy isn't, depending on the injury, or his effectiveness obviously).

He has to get back pitching first... once he is back, and effective... you can think about it.

I didn't care about adding bats, I knew we would be okay without adding bats. Needed pitching. Sanchez was a guy I was willing to pay for. Didn't even try to add anyone, and that is what is most frustrating.

I think Gausman is more ready than Bundy personally, but obviously Bundy is first. Forgot he was injured so my statement is null and void I guess.

Leave is to Nick to get the leadoff hit. I cannot stress enough how important he is to this team. Love him in the leadoff role.

Machado has to do better than that. Not swinging at any of the pitches. Can't go down like that.

Looks like somebody is afraid of Jones.
Too bad it's not a regular hot day in Baltimore. or else I think Ryu would be struggling a la Uehara.

Great job by Jones to work the count and draw the Walk. Now we need Wieters to plate at least a run here.
