Brooklyn looking like they should be able to force a Game 7 against a beat up Bulls team.
I think the Warriors close out the Nuggets tonight.

Bulls had the ball with 19 seconds left, down 3. Horrible sequence.

Well, we get a game 7 in the Chicago/Brooklyn series. That's fun. I think Brooklyn will take it to complete the comeback.
David Lee playing for the Warriors. Apparently out for the rest of the postseason is a shorter time than it used to be.

Bogut has impressed me with his athleticism.
He's having an excellent night defensively. Really protecting the paint. There's a lot of pressure on him to rebound as well, playing in that undersized lineup. He's having a very good game.
Golden State has played pretty poorly overall, but down just 2. I still expect them to ultimately take this game.

Additional thought on GS, if you would have said that Curry and Thompson would be 2-13 combined, have less than 10 points, and they'd be down 2, I'd probably have said impossible.

Curry hits a 3.. GS up 3 (47-44) with 9:20 left in the 3rd.

Beautiful look from Curry to Bogut.
With Lee back, and Curry playing out of his mind... they won't be an easy out.

I'm not a big NBA guy, but I saw this GS win coming. Good for them.

GS may have just performed the biggest choke job ever for a team that hung on and won.
San Antonio will beat GS in 4 or 5. They're definitely happy to get Golden State over Denver.

Game 6 Friday...
New York at Boston (Knicks lead 3-2)
Indiana at Atlanta (Pacers lead 3-2)
OKC at Houston (Thunder lead 3-2)
LAC at Memphis (Grizzlies lead 3-2)

For as uninteresting as most people were making this first round out to be, 6 of the 8 series will go to at least 6 games and have been very competitive. We should be fortunate enough to get a handful of game 7's as well.

Agreed. And I don't necessarily want this to happen, but if Boston wins tonight, that will end up being one of the better 1st round series in a while.

I'm not much of an NBA fan, but I will watch the semis and the finals. I just don't think it's necessary to have two full months of playoffs. Why not make the first round or two five games instead of seven?
I liked it more when it was a best-of-5, I can see why the NBA in additional to monetary reasons wanted it expanded -- the more games you play, the more likely the "better" team is going to win.
The NHL/NBA playoffs are watered down when half the teams get in. It almost feels like you can just start watching during the playoffs and it's even termed "the real season."
I do think the NBA/NHL could play every other day (atleast until the Finals) with an additional day off between series, maybe back-to-back games in some cases to speed things up.
Not sure if this has happened before but you have four games tonight in two time slots. I actually think they could've put a west game later, but I can see the NBA not wanting to lose the east coast fan-base.
