Crazy damn money.  It just shows the benefits of a QB on a rookie contract even more.

That might take them out of dealing their 1st rd pick. Now they need the best DE they can get.

KC gave Clark 105M. I get that maybe he’s a better fit in their new scheme than Ford but a first, second and all that money? Is that worth the difference between the 2 players?

ESPN:

As dangerous as the Seahawks looked like they could be on defense after adding Jadeveon Clowney to their front seven, the back end remains something of a question mark. The first half of their season opener won't do anything to put that question to rest. Tedric Thompson, starting at free safety over rookie second-round pick Marquise Blair, mistimed his jump on a deep ball that he was in position to either intercept or at least knock down, resulting in a 55-yard touchdown that put the Bengals back up 17-14 just before half. Cincinnati's other touchdown came on a flea flicker. The Seahawks figured the Bengals had the element of surprise working in their favor in their first game under a rookie head coach/offensive play-caller who kept things vanilla in the preseason. Add some trickery and Thompson's misplay and the Bengals have 248 yards of offense to go along with their three-point lead. Clowney, meanwhile, has been giving Cincy problems up front in his Seahawks debut.

A win Monday night by the Seahawks moves them up to the No. 1 seed in the NFC by virtue of their earlier win over the Niners.

Dammit, Josh Gordon. AGAIN?

I still bet someone keeps him in our FF league. He's been kept since he came into the league for some headscratching reason.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Dammit, Josh Gordon. AGAIN?

The Patriots released him earlier in the year because they knew he was back on drugs.  They had been illegally filming inside Gordon's house.

He needs help.

Whether he should be allowed back in the league or not is irrelevant.

And yes, I know it’s largely been just weed and that’s not really a big deal but the guy is obviously an addict and I would worry about what the weed leads to.

Him being in jail or dead within 5 years would be the least surprising thing ever unless he gets help.

I heard Fitz this morning and he talked about how the Grammys pay for musicians to get help when they are addicts and that they pay for it even if they aren’t actively touring or something like that. Good on them for trying to help those that have given them so much. The NFL should do the same.
