The Herschel Walker-to-Minnesota deal might be the worst all-time, but this one will certainly go ringing down the same corridors of history. It's ironic that just a few years earlier in 2017, the Niners were on the other end of an ill-fated trade when they received a first, third, fourth and future third-round pick from the Bears so Chicago could move up one spot to draft Mitch Trubisky.

Not sure why Dallas needed another QB. Rush played well last year. I guess they figured buy low with Lance and maybe try to trade Rush for a higher pick?

The Dolphins essentially traded Lance and a few other picks for Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and Bradley Chubb.

Doesn’t impact how bad a trade it was though. Helps that they lucked out when Purdy outperformed his college production and draft position.

Jerry gets his headline and I'm sure people will be calling for Lance the second Dak makes a mistake.  Just the usual Cowboys cycle of mediocrity.
