Am I the only one that things Garoppolo is getting a raw deal? He's no Brady or Mahomes or Burrow, but he's already been to one Super Bowl and was a dropped interception away from making it two. Seems like the could do a LOT worse. Unless they get overwhelmed with a trade offer, if I were them I'd sit tight and keep coaching up Jimmy G.

I don't really follow them, but I don't see why you pick a QB at 3 only to have him sit for 2 years. Making use of a rookie QB deal is one of the bigger cap things you can take advantage of and keeping Jimmy G would be just wasting that. He may not be the problem, but why draft Lance if you're going to keep him? imagine if instead they had Chase, Deebo, and Kittle?

They decided to move on from Garopolo before they drafted Lance. Unless he had a tremendous 2021 which completely changes the outlook or unless Lance was dreadful in his rookie year opportunities and practice, both of which didn't happen, you can't change off of that plan. Jimmy G is good enough that you can't get rid of him without a replacement in place. But SF has the replacement, so time to move on.

Deebo looking for a new deal.
Has asked to be traded. Wow, huge story to see where he lands.
