We played the top rated AFC team, that was healthy and rested, and at a place that is probably the best homefield advantage in football due to the thin air, and won despite facing serious adversity.
As the late great Chuck Thompson would say "Ain't the beer cold?"

Payton Manning...class act:
@CSteele32: Great moment @ 1.5 hours after the game, Peyton Manning and his family waited to congratulate @raylewis52.com #ravens http://t.co/5makjqp9
I made my joke earlier, but I never have hated on Peyton like other "golden boy" QBs. He is a classy and great player

I may live to regret this, but I want New England.
The checklist is halfway there.
Beat the Colts in the playoffs....done
Beat Manning in the playoffs...done
Beat New England and get to the Super Bowl
Win the whole damn thing.
Let's go Ravens!!!

The most amazing quote in Chadiha's story is when he says the Broncos gave the Ravens a "gift". No. Not even close.
Jones Reply:
@rwags614 what a freaking slapdick. That's why he's not playin. Idiot man

The Ravens ST were easily the best in the league this year...doesn't that mean we also gifted them 2 TDs?I love me some Adam Jones. Ryan Wagner was talking about this article on Twitter, and Jones replied to his tweet about it - http://espn.go.com/n... ... more-raven

Wagner is spot on about that article, it's garbage. No credit at all to the Ravens. But we're used to that in this town. The Ravens ST were easily the best in the league this year...doesn't that mean we also gifted them 2 TDs?

Yes, he is right...I just tweeted Chahida...he won't respond but that's a poor effort from a national writer...very pathetic.Wagner is spot on about that article, it's garbage. No credit at all to the Ravens. But we're used to that in this town.

Btw, that TD to Smith at end of the half was so huge...own 7 and they have the ball to start the second half.
2 weeks in a row a missed FG by the other team proved to be huge.

We were talking during the game. I realized and obviously so did the Ravens that Manning did not have the arm strength to beat them down the field. We sat back on the short routes and made them earn every yard. It took 73 minutes but he finally made the fatal mistake.BTW, I don't remember Manning even trying to throw the ball downfield. That's surprising.
Not sure if it was the cold but Manning showed some real limits with arm strength last night.
I also think that is why they sat on the ball at the end of the half and regulation.

Me either. Still shocked. From Denver's perepective, it's no Cundiff, but this one has to sting a lot this morning.I still cannot believe that game.
