Hey thanks man, that means a lot. I'll happily pass along that message haha. We're planning on doing a film club type thing where we recommend each other a movie once or twice a month so I'll get him to see some.

Yeah, just between the two of us, it seems you've seen much more great movies than he has... that judging by his putting American Reunion in his top 10. ;)

My movie junkie friend is loving this too, I think he'll continue listening.

Yeah I think he just hasn't seen enough 2012 movies yet. It was my idea to do the top 10 of the year. I've been keeping track of my top 10's since 2005 so I like to take advantage of that.

Glad your friend is listening, tell him I said thanks.

Will do. That feedback about Casey was actually from him, BTW.

I still need to finish the PTA catalog. Have a few more left.

What haven't you seen? The lowest rated movie of his for me is 4/5, he's probably my favorite director.

1. There Will Be Blood
2. Magnolia
3. The Master
4. Punch Drunk Love
5. Boogie Nights
6. Hard Eight

Actually, the only one's I haven't seen are Hard Eight and The Master. I kind of saw The Master, but was with friends and wasn't paying attention. I did like what I saw though.

Of those I recall well, I'd go:

1. Magnolia
2. Punch Drunk Love
3. There Will Be Blood
4. Boogie Nights

lol The Master is definitely not a party movie. It's like a fine wine that gets better the more you think about it.

I don't think any PTA films are party movies, lol. It was just on in the background, I thought it was random as hell. I tried to watch parts of it, but we weren't really there to watch a movie. Pretty random, I know.

It's a crazy, weird pick... but Magnolia is actually my top seed overall. That movie just completely and entirely does it for me.

Also a random pick, but Garden State and Walk The Line are up there for me too.

Magnolia is great. I love the ending as weird as it is.

Enjoyed Walk the Line, never seen Garden State.

Episode three is now available, our best one yet IMO. We review Flight and count down our top five Denzel Washington movies.

Side note: during my Blind Side mini rant replace the word pariah with hero or savior. I was way off in what I was looking for.

If I don't have the chance to listen today, I will on Tuesday (I'm off Monday thanks to being a banker). But this movie is phenomenal. I absolutely loved it.

I'm closer to you than Casey. I enjoyed it but didn't fully connect. He didn't like it so it was hard to have a complete conversation about it. Unfortunately we had a bit of a time crunch so I'm afraid we didn't give it enough attention. Hope you still keep listening lol.

Oh, I def. will, no worries. I'm just a sucker for movies like that.

Also, Emma Watson needs to sit on my lap. That is all.

Haha who knew Hermoine Granger would grow up to be a catch. She needs to work on her American accent though. Or better yet just ditch it.

Yeah, I'd be OK with just ditching it... and she's of age now... so she can ditch some of the clothing as well. Just sayin'.

Started a Facebook fan page (well, technically I changed the one I had for The Oriole Report into one for The Redbox Report) so if anyone would be kind enough to 'like' it, I would appreciate it.
