I mentioned this in the Movie Talk thread but this is going to be my movie podcast I do with my brother in law Casey. We're planning on recording the first episode two weeks from today on the 25th. Trying to squeeze in seeing at least Django Unchained and Zero Dark Thirty by then because we're going to be counting down our top 10 and bottom 5 movies of 2012 as well as our 5 most anticipated movies for 2013. There are a couple of other things on the agenda for the intro episode but on a regular basis it should go something like this:
Review the week's big DVD/Bluray release on Redbox
Top 5 related to either an actor/actress, the director, the genre, etc.
News
What else we watched
Emails (if we ever happen to get one...)
Preview next week

I'm pretty nervous about this but hopefully it works out ok. Should be fun for us anyway lol. I hate the sound of my own voice so probably gonna do minimal editing. Also hoping for no "stage fright" despite probably no more than 10 people ever hearing it. If anyone has any advice or feedback I'd love to hear it.

Yeah Allstar, I wouldn't mind having guests eventually if we get our feet under us, get comfortable, and can figure out how to do it technically. I want to get the first one out of the way but I need to see a couple more movies like I said.

It's on track to be recorded tomorrow. I think we're gonna post episodes on Saturday nights/Sunday mornings just so we can have a consistent schedule despite when we're able to record. I appreciate the interest, hopeful we're able to deliver something listenable.

It's so good. "Fight? Fight. Kitchen? Kitchen. Pork rind? Pork rind." I swear I think I can recite the whole movie from memory.
Any other thoughts? We could use any feedback we can get, good or bad. We did absolutely no editing so given that I thought we moved the conversation along fairly well.

Hey thanks man, that means a lot. I'll happily pass along that message haha. We're planning on doing a film club type thing where we recommend each other a movie once or twice a month so I'll get him to see some.
