It's crazy to think that our season was essentially over in Denver at the end of regulation. I was thinking, "hey we made a good run, fought hard, and lost to Manning who is having one of the best comeback seasons in the history of the NFL, at Denver." Then Flacco throw the F-bomb and I nearly jumped through the ceiling. Once we tied the game and sent it to overtime I knew we'd win. I was confident that we'd win the Super Bowl after beating Denver. After that I didn't fear the Patriots any longer.

We were watching the game at a friend's house in Westminster and he lives close to a golf course. Mid-4th quarter we all agreed that if we won we'd jump into the pond on the golf course. I don't think I've ever felt colder water in my life...but it felt so good.
