MLB.com link for those who have moved on from Twitler.
The $5 beer menu is quite a leap back from the $20 beers with a defaulted in tip that you had to unselect last year on those swipe screens. I grew a lot coarser as the year went on LOL.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

Not enough to make me renew my plan but it's definitely incentive to go to more games.
I am sure the one kiosk they have selling these value meal items will be swamped, though.

I rarely drank at games, because I would bike to the ballpark. But a $5 beer is pretty amazing, especially since it's not just $5 Bud Light.
Good news! I saw a dog today.

"Value menu" options are always nice to have.
Looks like the upper deck will have 2 locations with both "value" food/soda and beer together.
The lower deck will have 3 locations for each separately? So if you want a still-overpriced-but-not-as-bad-as-it-could-be hot dog, and a beer... in the lower deck you have to make two separate stops? Strikes me as kind of odd. Here's a fan friendlier option, but we're still going to inconvenience you by putting the food here and the beer over there about 10 sections away???

The $8 hot dog was usually garbage last year. The $9 one in the club section was pretty good though. Can't wait to see what $5 gets you.

That said, the devil’s always in the details. So we’ll see how it plays out. The seemingly very limited ways to access the value menu seems like a real prohibiting factor right off the bat, for those who actually came to the stadium to watch the game.

I wouldn’t ask what the $5 gets you, I’d just eat it quickly then try and forget it happened.
Bad food is unfortunately something that won’t let you forget it right after ingesting.
At least this is a sign they’re not completely trying to nickel and dime fans to death now that they’re finally spending more on players.

What's not to like about this? Win for the fans.
Let's see how it shakes out. Concessions have become pretty horrible over the past few seasons so the execution on this will be key.

It's a hot dog. Are any of them not basically garbage lol. From someone who enjoys the occasional hot dog.
