I wouldn’t ask what the $5 gets you, I’d just eat it quickly then try and forget it happened.
Parts is parts.

It's a hot dog. Are any of them not basically garbage lol. From someone who enjoys the occasional hot dog.
Hot dogs are like pizza, no such thing as bad hot dogs/pizza but there is definitely a hierarchy for both.

Bad food is unfortunately something that won’t let you forget it right after ingesting.
At least this is a sign they’re not completely trying to nickel and dime fans to death now that they’re finally spending more on players.
Babbled about this in another thread a week or two ago, but at some point years back the basics at Ripken Stadium were borderline inedible for me. And I'm not a food snob, I love greasy and unhealthy food as much as anyone. I remember getting a hot dog, fries, and coke... no exaggeration the hot dog was cold, the bun was dry and stale, the fries tasted like cardboard, and the fountain coke was horrible. I thought maybe the syrup was bad, told them, and they offered me a Sprite (or something else) instead... which then tasted just as bad as the coke... so I assume the water was fouled. And prices were basically no different than a MLB game. A big reason why I don't go to 20 Ironbirds games a year vs 1 or 2 at most... minor league ball should be a notably cheaper outing than a major league game.
Anyway, rant #2374 aside... and pizza is pizza to me. Don't give me the NY / NJ pizza thing, had plenty of it and it's just pizza. Some is better than others, but none of it is worth going out of the way for.

$12 for a hot dog (assuming it's not cold and the bun isn't stale), pretzel bytes with cheese, and a 16 oz soda that you can refill... somewhat acceptable in today's inflated world.
You can food-hack the cheese on to the hot dog too... pro tip from me...

Did you do the Michael Scott NYC pizza move?

When they cost $8, there's a difference.

Worst take ever.
I flew to Naples a few months ago to eat pizza. And it was awesome.
