Really would be nice to see Burnes finally throw a dominant performance and the bats take advantage of a lousy pitcher for a change. The series win is very much for the taking tonight.

If I have to choose, I'll take Burnes dominating and making 1-run stand up over him getting shelled again but the offense outslugging LA.

 

A laugher would be very cathartic.  9-1 O's or something.

Buehler is having a rough go in his 10 starts so far after missing last year; but he's previously been excellent, and is just 30. He should find success again.  Hopefully not tonight.

5 days has been normal for him this year.  16 of his starts on 5-days rest and 3 on more than that.  Only 7 on 4-days rest.  His two most recent disasters were both on 5-days rest.

Yeah, I'm probably just grasping at straws.  He's really been lousy in August - 20 earned runs in 20.2 innings.

Dominguez threw thirty some pitches last night, I doubt he'd be avail to pitch tonight for the save.
