I feel kinda zen about the division race right now tbh. When we have like 10 games left I'll start stalking the Yankee scores but right now as long as neither team goes on a 15-game winning streak or losing streak we're probably not going to have anything major happen where I'm not gonna sweat it, unless they're in danger of dropping out of the first WC spot

Kinda the same.  Yanks have a super easy schedule for the next 2 weeks.  I have a feeling they're going to pull ahead by a few here, especially while we're just treading water.

Make the playoffs and hope to be hot when you get there.  That's my mindset for right now.

The O's have a 2.5 game lead over the Twins for the #1 wild card spot - that's important, because you get to play the entire wild card round at home.

6 game lead over the Red Sox to fall out of the wild card altogether.

Yeah let's revisit this after the 4 game series starting tomorrow. They have a chance to just about bury the Red Sox.....or give the Boston Ian's a big boost.

Boston blew a 3-run lead in the 9th then lost in the 10th. Good day.

Yankees were down 2-1 to Chicago and promptly scored 9 unanswered runs. Assuming they win, I’ll tip my cap to the ChiSox in appreciation of them winning at least one against them

Royals, Twins, Sox all win and gain ground on everyone above them. Looks like Houston prob wins West. Sea is fading. So setting up right now to be 6 teams fighting for 5 spots. Cle, NY, Bal,Min,KC,Bos. 2 division winners. 3 WCs. One gets left holding their ****

With the Yanks and Birds treading so much water Im waiting for the RedSox to make the big comeback Mackus thought may have never happened. Its possible they pass two teams that were once what 10-12 games up on them in early - mid June

6 games out of 2nd place in mid-August feels a little more doable than 12 games back in June or whatever it was.  Still, a herculean task that I wouldn't be surprised doesn't happen more than once a decade if even that often and now even harder given the limited head-to-head opportunities.  I don't think the Red Sox have much of a shot. They've been worse (3 games under since ASB) than us (even) and New York (4 games over) lately.

I was worried Boston would creep up on us, but I don't think their pitching is good enough. Who knows, though, with the way they can score runs.

I'll just be happy if we play well enough to get in at this point.

Bot 9 Tigers just hit a two out base hit to score Keith Colt from second to tie the game at 1-1.

That was one of the best heads up slides I've ever seen.

2-2, Bot 10 winning run at 2nd.

Jasson Dominguez double-pumped in LF and the Tigers win.

3-2.

Wow what a terrible decision on the hesitation by Dominguez there to allow Detroit to win. That was awful.
