Please hit Soto in the face if they want to headhunt.

Start tomorrow with an opener - whoever can throw hardest. Hit Soto so hard the ball ricochets into center field, then have that guy drop his glove and walk off the mound like a god d**ned gangsta to take his suspension.

Our luck whoever threw the pitch would probably need TJS afterwards.

Hopefully that little incident will light a fire in these guys.

Phuck the Yankees and their Richard Head piece of excrement manager. Hyde should green light head hunting on Judge and Soto and Rice the rest of the series. They've all been intentional and it's time to give it right back. Drop the pretense. Ear hole at 95+ on every one of them for all I care...

I love Ben, but you can't brush back somebody at head level. That was on purpose. That was one of the most deliberate acts of head hunting I have ever seen. I'm pretty old too. I've seen some things.

I will happily trade another game to make Judge or Soto see stars tomorrow.

What did Kjerstad do? But I agree. I'm not coming for Rice. I'm coming for Judge and Soto and I'm doing it until they eject and suspend someone.

Pitch them inside every time up and if it hits them oh well.

Hyde apparently didn't react the way he did because he thought it was intentional (though I still think it was). The Yankees dugout (Cortes specifically among them) were apparently mocking him and Kjerstad while he checked on him.

Classless fucking team.

Yes. About a foot inside and about 3 feet above the strike zone. On every pitch.

The Yankees are ABSOLUTELY hitting Orioles on purpose and there's zero doubt about it. Could care less what Hyde says to cover his rear for future payback, but he knows it too. That's why he was livid right away.

Head hunting sucks. But there's only so much turn the other cheek and take it you can do. Nobody is going to punish the Yankees staff or players for it, obviously. So take care of it yourself. They opened the door and threw more than one grenade in. Just sick of it... all bets should be off at this point from the Orioles side.

Hyde SHOULD have knocked Boone out cold.

The problem is Hyde doesn't appear to try and do anything to pump the team up. Trots out the same lineups. Never goes out and confronts the umps. Just sits on the edge of the dugout like a stump.

OMG this team is just dying on the vine. Smart move to cut off the throw but nobody coves first to get Soto. WTF you guys???

I would need evidence that confronting umpires, getting ejected or committing other acts to "pump up" the team results in victory. No one tries to win one for the Gipper in baseball.

Neither am I. Could never understand how anyone ever wins a beanball war. Beat them 12-1 tomorrow instead.

This team needs some fire. THe Yanks were always going to try to punk us and bully us. They were going to continue to test us. Its their arrogance. I told Ricker before we played one game against the Yanks this year that they would try us. Theyve hit our players over 3 times as much as we have hit them. THey threw at us twice in the 2nd game of the last series and Hyde did nothing about it. . Bullies dont stop til you stand up to them and Kjersted got it last night because of Hyde's failures. . THis team is soft and that starts with Hyde. They are a talented baseball team but they are soft. THey need to grow some balls and that starts with the manager. Freddie GOnzalez has shown more fire in his belly than anyone on this team. Certainly more than Hyde throughout this whole thing. He is the man for the job and I've said that all before. You need someone whos going to have this team prepared for intensity like this rivalry and the intensity of playoff baseball and that is not Hyde. The sooner we move away from Hyde the better. God knows I dont want this team to limp down the stretch nor do I want another quick playoff exit but if it means Hyde gets canned it probably is the best thing in the long run. We are closer to the beginning than end of our window with a lot of these core pieces. Wasting 3 or 4 years in the middle of this window with a guy like Hyde who cant get the job done would be tragic. With every fiber of my being I believe what Im saying. He's not a guy who can win a WS with this team.

Lets see if they even fight the rest of this series. See if they grow some balls. Or lets see if they roll over and continue to take it. Those that say go out and kick their ass tomorrow and thats all you need to do. Ok fine, then lets see that happen. Lets see them do something they havent done since returning home. I'll take that kind of fire. Or lets see them finally stand up to the Yanks and show there are consequences for continuing to take the liberties they have taken ever since Judge was accidently hit and returned after 1 day off. Either one or both but this is Hyde's moment to prove me wrong above. If Hyde wont do it then some of these players in the clubhouse need to stand up and say no more. Lets see if anyone other than Freddie G has had enough. The Yanks are entilted pricks. They arent going to stop. Its their whole schtick. We are the big bad Yankees. They will try to run you over in every way and the more they get away with the more they will keep pushing for more. So lets see where these young Birds and their manager go from here. We are at an important point not just in this season but where things go for the next 3 or 4 years of what should be a huge window of contention.

I can't give any "evidence" because I am not in a major league clubhouse. However, I think it's pretty evident that the Orioles have been limping into the ASB. I think Hyde would have gotten the team's attention and perhaps sparked his team if he had gone out to argue the call on Santander.

In retrospect, I'm glad he didn't because he wouldn't have been around to protect Kjerstad after he was beaned. The Yankees gave the Orioles their version of the Gipper in Kjerstad. This is one pissed off bunch. It's time for the Orioles to show the Yankees that they should have let a sleeping dog lie.

Yeah we will see how much life they have. This is Hyde's biggest test. Rest of the players too. Time for these guys to grow up and become hardened. Lets hope they answer the call.
