Hopefully that little incident will light a fire in these guys.

Please just win 1 of the next 2 and go into the break with something positive.
I will happily trade another game to make Judge or Soto see stars tomorrow.

Phuck the Yankees and their Richard Head piece of excrement manager. Hyde should green light head hunting on Judge and Soto and Rice the rest of the series. They've all been intentional and it's time to give it right back. Drop the pretense. Ear hole at 95+ on every one of them for all I care...
What did Ben Rice do lol but I understand the frustration. Just never going to be ok headhunting.

What did Kjerstad do? But I agree. I'm not coming for Rice. I'm coming for Judge and Soto and I'm doing it until they eject and suspend someone.

Pitch them inside every time up and if it hits them oh well.

Yes. About a foot inside and about 3 feet above the strike zone. On every pitch.

The Yankees are ABSOLUTELY hitting Orioles on purpose and there's zero doubt about it. Could care less what Hyde says to cover his rear for future payback, but he knows it too. That's why he was livid right away.
Head hunting sucks. But there's only so much turn the other cheek and take it you can do. Nobody is going to punish the Yankees staff or players for it, obviously. So take care of it yourself. They opened the door and threw more than one grenade in. Just sick of it... all bets should be off at this point from the Orioles side.
Hyde SHOULD have knocked Boone out cold.

The problem is Hyde doesn't appear to try and do anything to pump the team up. Trots out the same lineups. Never goes out and confronts the umps. Just sits on the edge of the dugout like a stump.
OMG this team is just dying on the vine. Smart move to cut off the throw but nobody coves first to get Soto. WTF you guys???
I would need evidence that confronting umpires, getting ejected or committing other acts to "pump up" the team results in victory. No one tries to win one for the Gipper in baseball.

Neither am I. Could never understand how anyone ever wins a beanball war. Beat them 12-1 tomorrow instead.

I can't give any "evidence" because I am not in a major league clubhouse. However, I think it's pretty evident that the Orioles have been limping into the ASB. I think Hyde would have gotten the team's attention and perhaps sparked his team if he had gone out to argue the call on Santander.I would need evidence that confronting umpires, getting ejected or committing other acts to "pump up" the team results in victory. In retrospect, I'm glad he didn't because he wouldn't have been around to protect Kjerstad after he was beaned. The Yankees gave the Orioles their version of the Gipper in Kjerstad. This is one pissed off bunch. It's time for the Orioles to show the Yankees that they should have let a sleeping dog lie.

Yeah we will see how much life they have. This is Hyde's biggest test. Rest of the players too. Time for these guys to grow up and become hardened. Lets hope they answer the call.I can't give any "evidence" because I am not in a major league clubhouse. However, I think it's pretty evident that the Orioles have been limping into the ASB.
