Norby looks like be belongs. Holliday did not. Obviously extremely small sample size for both. Wouldn't mind seeing Norby get an extended run.

I'd be hesitant to bench Mateo with as good as he's playing, but any amount of time missed is gonna make me expect him to fall into a deep funk. Would give Mateo his job back once he returns I think but real quick hook if he doesn't pick right back up. No faith in him busting out of any slumps.

We will see how Norby does over the next week or so. Mateo likely brings more to the table when hes playing like he has to this point in the season.
This is where depth helps. Hays starting to play well. I would expect Ced to find a streak at some point too. You can just keep throwing real options at your issues. Most teams cant do that. They have to use AAA guys that they know are AAA guys to cover.

I get how some pitchers and catchers click but this would be a detriment in the playoffs IMO. Lineup is better with Adley catching and not DH. Especially given how you could expect him to pitch more often due to the schedules during the playoffs.
Think we can officially say now that McCann is Burnes personal catcher.

It will be interesting to see how the defensive metrics like him in CF once he gets enough reps. The org is obv comfortable enough with him out there with Ced struggling the way he is right now.

Pretty great game. I didn't read the entire game thread as I was driving to the beach all day, but I'm sure there's plenty of people taking victory laps at my expense regarding Burnes.
