Send him out for the 7th. He's gotta take one for the team tonight.

I'd let him pitch until his arm falls off.

I'd let him pitch until his arm falls off.

And then option him straight to Pluto after the game.

Sure, why not? He's just meat at this point. And when his arm falls off he can try pitching LH.

Holliday will probably get his first hit late in this one with nobody watching.

Well at least he made contact with one of the pitches in that AB.

Hasn't been a great first 3 games for the kid.

Probably won't start tomorrow with Hall on the mound. Might need a little mental breather.

Despite the late inning heroics in Boston, the offense aside from Cowser is really struggling as a whole.

7, 7 and 9 the past three games. I mean I guess if you're not counting the late inning scoring the past two nights it's a lot less but why wouldn't you count that?

Ice cold for the week prior to that with only 23 in 7 games. That sticks in the memory.

Assuming just 1 run tonight, that's 71 runs in 13 games, or a pace for 885 on the year which is incredible. On the other hand, 2 or fewer in 4 of 13 seems really bad.

I don't have much worry about the offense. I think it's gonna be really good.

3 hits for Ortiz. Prefer he do it against others but glad to see him getting time and doing well so far.

Individually still feel like guys just aren't putting up good numbers. Sure they feasted on a mistake prone Boston team, but Henderson, Santander, Rutschman, Mullins have all been pretty subpar so far.

Mountcastle the only regular really consistently well early on before Cowser exploded.

Multiple guys are always cold, that's just how it goes. Go find the most productive two week stretch last year and probably multiple regulars under 600 OPS for that same time.

Gonna be a long 18 hours before we can hopefully see them wash out the sour taste of this one.

Well that sucked. Except Cowser staying white hot.

Fitting that Hays ended that slop of a game with a ground out to SS.

He saved Holliday from a 4K game at least.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?
