Adley needed a night off to reset. He really scuffled through Pittsburgh and Boston by his standards.

I'm also a little concerned that his controlling of the running game hasn't appeared to have improved since last season, either.

Hays is 2 for 2 against this pitcher so maybe this is a chance for him to get something going

I would imagine Hays is pretty demoralized right now, knowing the handwriting is on the wall with Cowser hitting out of his mind.  If that is how he's feeling, he'll need to mentally get above it and focus on the opportunities he does get.  Tonight would be a good start.

This has been quite a revival from Yelich. Back to beast mode.

All the crap people talk about Kremer and Irvin, Wells is worse. He’s a BP arm and hopefully they can put him back there sooner than later.
I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

You're gonna have to make a case for Irvin being better.  Sounds ridiculous on the surface.

Wells is better than Irvin for sure. Not even close. He's best suited as a back end BP arm, though.

Wells stuff isn't great, especially starting, so he'll need his command to be on point to succeed. Tonight he hasn't found it yet.

Wells certainly hasn’t looked right this year yet. Stuff just doesn’t seem to be where it was last year before he wore down. He’s not fooling anyone.

Good job holding it to 3, I guess.  Still well within reach, lets start chipping away.

Peralta is tough. Brewer rainout tomorrow unfortunate for us since he would've pitched yesterday. Don't dig a big hole early like they did against Boston and expect to storm back.

What’s a way we can ensure Jackson Holliday doesn’t get to the plate the first 2 innings? Bat Austin Hays in front of him.

Ok that was rude. I like Hays. But damn.

Also, Peralta isn’t a guy you want to settle in, which he’s done.

IDK. I think I am taking Irvin over Wells. Not that it matters. Irvin just seems like he knows how to pitch better.
