Seton Hall G Kadary Richmond has entered the transfer portal. He played for Willard in '21-'22 after transferring from Syracuse. Might be the best player in the portal right now. He's from Brooklyn and St. John's is rumored to be in on him.

Swanton-Rodger is headed to Old Dominion.

I think he could do well at a mid major.  He worked hard when he was in a game but could not stay out of foul trouble.

Maryland has reportedly been in conversations with Chaz Lanier (North Florida). He’s widely projected to be headed home to Tennessee, but the Terps do seem to have an outside chance with him.

247Sports ranks Lanier as the third-best player currently available in the transfer portal.

19.7 ppg, 44% from 3 on 7.5 attempts per game, 88% from the line...  6'4, 200 lb guard....

1st team All Atlantic Sun...

I mean, if they add one more talent like that, expectations are going to be through the roof.

44% from deep is certainly and eye opener.   Maybe 3 guard surrounding the two bigs would present some matchup issues for the opposition.

Would wager the two games in the NW will be back-to-back, probably with an off day in between, so as to knock out the West Coast in one trip. Next year they'll do the same in LA.

How many air miles traveled next year between SC UCLA Oregon and Washington?

Even odds they'll each qualify for Medallion status on Delta.

As expected, Tennessee and Kentucky are considered to be the two leading programs to land Lanier. Haven't heard much on who else Willard is targeting for the final roster spot.

In Joe Lunardi's first Bracketology projections, he places Maryland in the "Last Four Byes" section as an 11-seed. Interestingly, that entire category is currently made up of Big Ten teams (Illinois, USC, Rutgers).

Former Memphis guard Jayhlon Young has announced he’ll be transferring to Maryland. He doesn’t offer much as a scorer, but is an excellent defender. This officially fills the Terps’ 2024-25 roster.

Sounds like the newest version of Jahari Long.
