I guess the one counter would be you could lock up the #1 seed if you beat both SF and Mia. Then you could do whatever you want in week 18 against Pitt. Rest whoever. But you already got some people fretting over one bye week in the WildCard round. Let alone should you rest guys vs Pitt. Btw thats all superstitious fan nonsense obviously. You want the #1 seed and if you can wrap it up before week 18 even better.

Yeah but Cle isnt winning out. No way. Flacco was horrible for 3/4 of that game. Hou prob gets them this week. Huge must game for Hou.

I mean Cin hasnt been chopped liver with Browning. Still in the playoff race themselves. The only schedule positive this week is we play Monday. We will know what happened with Mia, KC, and Cle.

Yeah that too - Lamar vs. Purdy with the MVP on the line IMO. Christmas night. I just can't imagine they don't come out and play well. I'd be shocked. But I definitely get the angst from the fans perspective. I agree with 2035 fully, really, I kinda hate the whole thing given how things are playing out and what is at stake. Yeah that's what he was when I made the bet.  Gunnar was +1000 at the time (this was like really early June after he had his first hot week) which combined is +17500

Nobody in the building is gonna have the mindset of not needing this game and instead focusing on Miami. I don't have any gripes with fans thinking that way, but it's completely unrealistic in terms of the team's preparation. Any team really, but especially the way the Ravens do things.

Exactly the mentality they should have.   

Should be fun.  SF is loaded.   When they've been healthy this year, they've looked like one of the better teams of the last 10 years. 

The Ravens can certainly win, but it's kind of fun to be heading there as the underdog, with the opportunity to take a swing at everyone's perceived #1.
