Wonder if we’ll see Sauray or Long at QB here towards the end of the fourth. Might be good to see them in a game situation.

Love Edwards’ toughness and resiliency, but his arm leaves a lot to be desired. That’ll need to improve if he wants to win the full-time job next season.

I hope he stays, competes, is available with his experience and used situationally...and not the starter.

So, this will be the first time in program history that Maryland has won bowl games in three consecutive seasons.

That was fun. I wish we had seen this sort of game against NW and ILL, then we'd be celebrating the first 10-win season in 20 years.

FWIW, Locksley has gotten the best results of any coach since Fridge. It's obviously a very low bar in between then and now, and they still leave meat on the bone too often, so there's that. But in the era of gazillion dollar NIL collectives, and MD's obvious shortcomings in that department, I'm not sure with who or how you do any better at this point.

Much much credit to Locksley for getting his team to buy in to these bowl games. MD has put up some pretty impressive performances in bowls these past few years.
