Surprised they did it today and not Wednesday. Two more days they have to keep him down, though I'd guess they aren't expecting it to be an exactly 20 day demotion.
Yeah, maybe they just wanted more time to evaluate, but doing it earlier would have made more sense.

Anyway, hard reset time. Let him spend at least a few months down there and lets see if he can make some mechanical and approach changes that may give him a chance to contribute in Aug-Sept

Time to get humble and work hard.

Bradish rejoining the rotation; no more rehab starts. Figure he'll replace Irvin or Suarez next time through.

Outstanding. Faster than I thought.

This probably goes in a different thread, but...
Some can make the jump quickly and some can't. There's no exact science to this.
You have seemed to think there is. You've been one (or many) banging on the future is now drum and bring up every prospect now. Any update to your approach or just keep rolling with it?
We can listen to the "I told you so" crowd but the fact is you never know until you give it a try.
Who is the "I told you so" group? Haven't seen a single person here say that (before of after). This place was nearly 100% "April games matter".

95 pitches is the key. Let's see what he can do! Rotation has such upside. Hopefully Suarez and Irvin can help stabilize the pen, though I don't think either guy really helps at the back end where we need it more.
I'd dump Yohan and option Tate.

This is a chart detailing innings pitched last year and average fastball velocity. The Xs on each name are those who have had TJ or elbow trouble so far. Luzardo is now on that list as well. Bobby Miller is having shoulder problems.
Not promising for Grayson.

Lighting up the radar gun is fun until your UCL is torn to shreds. Then it's slice, repair, and light it up again until it's torn to shreds yet again.
But get that bad juju BS out of here.
What I'm saying is they need a plan for the inevitable.
