Kremer has to because he doesn't have the stuff to just throw it over the middle like Rodriguez or Bradish can. He's gotta hunt corners, and corners are balls if you miss.

That's why I was thinking we might try to get a bit more out of Kremer. I wasn't passionately against making a move there or anything. But if you plan on pulling the starter when a runner gets on, just let the reliever start with a clean inning.

I'm a big proponent of trying to get a starter through another inning and if someone gets on, yank them. That doesn't bother me at all.

However, I think Coulombe was coming in for Lowe regardless of what Diaz does.
