I like taking the swing, but yeah this trade has awful results. Would've preferred a handful of other guys over Flaherty, even at higher cost. Though many of them have also been blah.

Rom, btw, now has a lower ERA than Flaherty since the trade. Fewer starts, though.

Me too except it was always the wrong swing. There was nothing to suggest he was a bounce back candidate. Just frustrating. But like you said, at least he finally took a swing.

2035 - given that Jack has hurt us more than helped us, it’s a low a bar. Trust me I’m just venting a little at Flaherty, I wouldn’t judge a guy from 1 start.

I know the numbers really dont support it but Im not a fan of our lineups vs LHP. For one, McCann always plays. He a zero. Gunnar is clearly at a disadvantage. Westburg had pretty severe reverse splits in the minors. Urias has always had reverse splits. You lose Ced and OHearn two of our better hitters. Just hate facing lefties.
