Looks to me like they're all trying to hit 500 ft. homeruns. We were swinging and missing at high 92 mph fastballs all night.

Why? I have never understood this whole west coast is so hard mentality. Especially in a case like this where they had a full day off. Last time I checked they play the same game as they do on the east coast......lol.

 

Freaking excuse. Davies had decent location last night but he had no velocity at all. Watched till it got to 4-1 and the most I ever saw was 90. O's hitters just were asleep. Horrible loss.

Jet lag, long travel messes up your sleep schedule, etc. Think it’s proven that performance is affected by it.

Who knows how accurate the study was, but this says no impact on expected record traveling east-to-west.  Traveling west-to-east reduces likely of winning by 3.5%.
