Davies looks pretty hittable but so is Irvin.  Maybe a high scoring affair?

Similar type starters.  I think Irvin has been fairly good recently.  Hopefully the Orioles get adjusted to the time change again, and get game 1.

Davies if RH. I get our record splits but I just feel way better when we are facing a righty vs a lefty.

Trading Davies was so worth 2 months of Gerardo Parra in 2015 so we could finish 81-81.

 

Definitely couldn't have used his production over the next 5 years. : /

We seem to have more trouble against junk ballers than power pitchers, and Davies definitely falls among the former. I think his fastball is topping out at about 22 mph these days.

Urias is just standing there at 2B - you have to realize where the outfielders are lined up. It wasn't some phenomenal catch. It was lined into the RFer's vicinity. It's up to you to know this, kid.

What's funny is when the O's PBP guy (not Kevin Brown tonight?) credited Carroll with a nice play "tracking down" Anthony Santander's 106 MPH shot to right. 

 

You don't track down a 106 mph line drive. If the ball's hit near you, you try and catch it. Cuz you're not getting many steps in before the ball wizzes by you.
