Saw Hernaiz could get called up by Oakland soon, happy for him.
He has had a good year. Good for him. I hope he has a bad weekend though.

The O's don't have enough hitters who are clicking at the moment to safely predict a sweep.
If they come out hot tonight, then perhaps all bets are off, though.

Jim Palmer tweeted that he got out of the hospital today. Pretty serious case of Covid.

Glad he is healthy. Now that he is, John Angelos will probably can him for telling us on air during his 60th anniversary call that he got it at the Orioles 1983 celebration from the suite.
I want to be clear I don’t want this to happen, but I have some kind of sick urge to see the aftermath of Angelos firing Jim Palmer after being hospitalized. Like hoping for a train wreck I guess, but I’d like to see the national media go at that situation.

Great start. The Toy cannon with a big 2 out hit.
Good base-running from Mounty scoring from first.

He thanked someone from MASN for saving his life.

Oakland is terrible.
Such a storied franchise, a charter member of the American League with so many of baseball's immortals to have worn the uniform, yet they have had long stretches of futility that are virtually unmatched.
As Charlie Finley joked when he bought the hapless Kansas City A's, "I wanted to get into baseball in the worst way, and that's exactly what I did."

Pitching with a lead is an art form.

And Gibson is no Rembrandt.
