There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

Maybe a one year $8M deal I could live with. That’s all he’d get from us and probably more elsewhere

These west coast games are brutal.
No need for it to be brutal now. Get some decent sleep you east coasters.
I might watch a couple of innings to see if we can get the bats going but won't put up with much more of this. 3 walks in the first inning. Horrendous pitching.

Flaherty's #1 comp is Dylan Cease. He's going to get a hell of a lot more than $8m. Depending on what the O's coaching staff thinks of him, I could see them trying to lock him up on a five year deal to be a mid-rotation arm.

Just knew it was coming. Sanchez had been hitting homers and the last thing Flaherty was going to do there was walk him after already walking in a run. So frustrating. Great piece of hitting there by the veteran.
Ump started out squeezing him on that first walk, but Flaherty definitely lost his way.

I think he can be the Bassitt signing so many wanted last offseason. Depending on how much he likes it here and how he performs the rest of the way. Hes a glob guy so its about how much the FO likes him going forward.

5 years from anybody seems optimistic for Flaherty. 5 years from the Orioles for anybody seems downright laughable.

So much if it will come down to how amenable / coachable he is.
